James L. Wright, Jr. is currently the Regional Emerging Markets Manager for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. In this job, James promotes, educates and markets to first time homebuyers, ethnically diverse borrowers and to low to moderate income individuals who seek to realize the dream of home ownership. He also partners with numerous community and professional organizations to promote wealth building through homeownership. Additionally, he coordinates communications on this segment to the community and throughout Wells Fargo. James has worked at Wells Fargo Bank for over 5 years and has 11 years of financial service industry experience which spans from working for a payroll service company to asset management. James is a graduate of Morehouse College with his BA in Marketing. He has his MBA from Golden Gate University of San Francisco, CA. He works and volunteers with several community and professional organizations such as Junior Achievement and the Urban Financial Services Coalition and Big Brother Big Sister. In his spare time, he enjoys snow boarding, playing golf and hiking. James also has a strong conversational command of the Japanese language and enjoys exploring other cultures.
